Her career started in Washington, in the office of House Armed Services Committee Chairman, Congressman Howard "Buck" McKeon. Campbell graduated in 2010 with a bachelor of science in political science from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama.

Kathy Lavinder has more than 17 years of experience identifying and placing high level security managers and related personnel. Lavinder's clients have included corporations, financial institutions, accounting firms, law firms, consulting firms, academic institutions, insurance companies, healthcare organizations, NGOs and non-profits in the U.S. and internationally.
Lavinder turned to recruiting after working in corporate investigations and journalism. As an investigator and manager with Investigative Group International Lavinder directed a team of investigators, security, and research specialists working on long-running, multifaceted engagements including security audits, internal investigations, thefts of intellectual property, anti-competitive practices and anti-trust litigation matters, as well as due diligence and fraud investigations.
Before that Lavinder was with ABC News in New York as a writer/producer and a manager. Prior to ABC, Lavinder was News Director of WBZ Radio in Boston and was a television reporter and anchor in Roanoke, Virginia. Lavinder has a Bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina and a Master's degree from Georgetown University.
